Reshoring

The new trend among European and American companies.
With reshoring, production and services, e.g. from Asia, are brought back to the local market.

In order to save costs, the production was relocated to Asia.
Economists see many disadvantages in outshoring as opposed to reshoring. Especially when you compare productivity, costs and delivery times between Asia and Europe.

This is not the only aspect for this phenomenon - as it turns out, when the production is located closer to the end user, it enables better results to be achieved by reducing logistics costs.
